MultiTrace 2: Features for GC/MS SIM Quantification
Core functionality
- MultiTrace makes evaluation and quantification of GC/MS SIM analysis as efficient, rapid and convenient as possible. It is made by GC/MS experts for GC/MS experts and originates from daily, routine experience with GC/MS SIM analyses.
- MultiTrace recognises with which method the GC/MS run was acquired and opens the correct substance table containing time windows, m/z values of the desired ion traces, and reference concentrations.
- You may select any compound of your substance table or browse the table and MultiTrace will automatically update the extracted ions and time ranges, integrate the peaks and calculate the results.
- You may then manually optimise the integration in a highly convenient and rapid manner. MultiTrace updates the integral value and all calculated results on-the-fly.
- You can view both the raw integral value as well as the calculated concentrations at any time at the top lines of each ion trace graph. You may choose to view two or three ion traces simultaneously. Thus, you can always determine with a glance whether the different ion traces give the same concentration either by reading the relative abundances, or the calculated concentrations, or even visually by comparing the peaks.

Report Table with Quantification Results
- With a single click of the mouse you can switch to the report table, where you can view, export and print all raw data and calculated values. Options allow you to select which columns and data will be printed or exported. Printing the graphical ion traces is possible in high-quality.
- You may simply double-click on any entry to return to the main window, and MultiTrace will automatically select that compound as active.
